Al-Hejaz International Schools (HIS) is preparing to take student learning beyond the classroom with an exciting international educational Journey to Malaysia for Years 8–9 students, marking a new milestone in the school’s renewed journey under Dr. Abeer Attalla Educational Group (ATG).
Taking place from 19 to 25 November 2026, this seven-day, six-night journey will give students the opportunity to explore new cultures, discover inspiring places, and gain valuable experiences in an international setting. The trip marks the first international learning adventure of its kind in HIS’s renewed journey under ATG, reflecting the school’s commitment to enriching the student experience through opportunities that extend beyond traditional classroom learning.
Journey to Malaysia Through Learning and Exploration
Malaysia offers a unique combination of cultural diversity, modern cities, natural beauty, and educational opportunities, making it an exciting destination for young learners.
During the trip, students will explore Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s vibrant capital, and Langkawi, an island known for its beautiful landscapes. The itinerary is designed to combine cultural experiences, university visits, and opportunities to discover the country’s distinctive character.
These experiences will encourage students to engage with different perspectives, learn about new environments, and develop a broader understanding of the world around them. By experiencing another culture firsthand, students can connect their classroom knowledge with real-life discoveries and develop a greater appreciation for global diversity.
Building Independence and Lifelong Skills
International educational trips provide valuable opportunities for students to grow academically, socially, and personally. Away from their familiar routines, students can develop greater independence, strengthen their communication skills, and learn to adapt to new situations.
The Malaysia trip is designed to help Years 8–9 students build confidence, take greater responsibility, and develop meaningful connections with their classmates. Exploring new destinations together will also encourage teamwork, cooperation, and mutual understanding.
Beyond the destinations themselves, the shared experiences and challenges of travelling as a group can help students strengthen friendships and create lasting memories. These are important parts of growing up that contribute to students’ development both inside and outside school.
A New Chapter in the HIS Student Experience
At Al-Hejaz International Schools, this international journey represents more than a school trip. It reflects the beginning of a new chapter in creating meaningful educational experiences that inspire curiosity, encourage exploration, and prepare students for a connected world.
Under the leadership of Dr. Abeer Attalla Educational Group (ATG), HIS continues its renewed journey with a focus on opportunities that support students’ academic development and personal growth.
By introducing international learning experiences, the school aims to help students become more confident, independent, and open-minded individuals who are ready to embrace future opportunities.
